I put on my XWARN hat and asked, "Why would we want a link to 
DARA--what's there for us?" Then I put on my MVMA hat and answered, "A 
2.4 GHz Omni that QRMs the Xenia and WA8APB omnis--when it manages to 
stay running." I can't present that to XWARN, so I no longer promote 
this link... or efforts at DARA to make it attractive to XWARN... or 
efforts to have higher bandwidth links between DARA, MVHS, and Xenia, of 
which this was part.

It has the hardware at each end needed to provide 20-30 Mb/s in each 
direction.
The MVHS end has low S/N.

I intend to fork this to another topic--Member Use and Misuse of MVMA 
Mesh Sites
We clearly need to discuss and vote on a proposal-approval process and 
guidelines
that protect the performance of MVMA resources, especially at MVHS where 
it's
gotten out of hand and is the worst it's ever been.
