Question: "How do you set up N2MH dial by callsign?"
The 'dial-by-callsign' feature is a local configuration of a feature of
N2MH's 'MeshPhone' utilities for FreePBX server.
Unique dialed numbers on the telephone pad can be configured to
be dialed by the PBX. At nc8q-raspbx this feature is prefixed by
dialing 73#. Then the next four digits on the keypad that matches
the last four characters of a registered phone's callsign is dialed. If
there is a match in the configuration, you will hear the numbers
and letters of the matching callsign spoken, then dialed.
This feature is intended to support those on the local mesh with
IP phones and do not already have a local 'whitepages' or
'dialing directory'.
EMCOMM/AUXCOMM uses could be dialing extension or (73# then)
FS61 (3761) to reach the mesh phone at Beavercreek Fire Station 61 or
FS20 (3720) " Bellbrook Fire Station 20.
