"BPQ is a very sophisticated NET/ROM compatible packet switch written by John
Wiseman G8BPQ. BPQ can be configured to be a sophisticated Packet BBS, a
WinLink2000 RMS gateway, an APRS iGate, or any combination of these."
I heard that there is some local interest in WinLink.
I have no interest in 1200 <> 9600 baud packet radio, but a 1,000,000
to 130,000,000 baud telnet session to any service would be of interest.
;-)
It would be kewel if meshers could access a WinLink2000 (RMS gateway?)
service from a mesh connected workstation (desktop/laptop) using a
telnet connection. I am certain that every OS has a telnet client
(CP/M, OS/9, DOS, Windoze, Linux, Mac, Chrome,...).
There is a BPQ release for Windows and Ubuntu.
Anyone else interested?
Chuck
