[MVMA] MVMA Meeting This Saturday - DARA Clubhouse - 9:30 am

All - Since I cannot make the meeting this Saturday, due to a wedding, I will offer a comment on MVMA.  I have always thought of MVMA as a subset of the ARES groups of GCARES and MoCo ARES.  Both groups have strongly supported and championed MVMA. 

 If MVMA is going to formalize its membership, I strongly recommend it be done in conjunction with GCARES and MoCo ARES (and maybe other counties as well).  It's hard to imagine MVMA operating independently of ARES.  Before MVMA enacts membership rules, etc., it must fully understand and abide by the ARES organizational structure and guidelines.
