[MVMA] Isolation using fiber cable at DARA

There has been some oral discussion on or near this topic.

What needs to be isolated?

  Nodes from ISP?

  Can the nodes and GS108E be on the outside and only the WAN need be 
isolated?
What about the IP telephone?

  I see some 100 Mbps converters (SC fiber <> ethernet) for around $35 
at Newegg.com.

  I have heard of two local and very frugal sources of fiber cable and 
adapters.
Else, cnaweb.com has SC<>SC cables <= 5 meters for < $10.

  So, if only the WAN need be isolated, the cost would be $70 - $80 no 
matter how many
nodes.
