[MVMA] KE8HUV possibilities

From John R's, the path to KAS is likely attenuated by trees:
ke8huv path profile
36 feet agl 220 feet agl

For the first mile and a half much of his energy is in the trees.

The 'airlink.ubnt.com' image indicates that KE8HUV is not in range of KAS.

See http://nc8q-mesh-server.local.mesh/mesh/images/2018/Airlink/ for
airlink images.
The images are too large to pass through this mail server without
moderator assistance.

John R. KE8HUV is 1.8 miles from Gary N8SPY and Gary is 1.5 miles from
Pursell and
Pursell is linking with KAS.
The rub is that KAS_W6CDR-Purcell_MVHS-Omni link quality would suffer
significantly if another 2397MHz node was added to the VLAN. 2
additional nodes...worser. ;-)

A cheap solution would be for KE8HUV to link with N8SPY with NS-M5s
and N8SPY to link with W6CDR-Pursell with another NS-M5 and add a
NS-M5 at W6CDR-Pursell. Of course each portion of the 5 GHz links would
be on different channels. (4x $80=$320)

A little more expense would be for the KE8HUV<>N8SPY link to be a
pair of NS-M3s. (2x $130=$260 + cables)

-or-

A little more expense would be for the Pursell<>N8SPY link to be a pair
of NS-M900s or NSM3s. (2x $130=$260 + cables)

Just thinking out loud.

Chuck
