[MVMA] If 'all' the equipment at W-Xenia is to be replaced,

I don't mean this disparagingly, but we have a reputation as a boat anchor 2.4 SISO mesh to maintain. We're like the AM HF guys and we should be proud of it. Bill and Tim link with AGM5s. The in-use 5.8 at MVHS is an AGM5 and that's what should be on the Xenia West tank if there were physical support for it. AFAIK, we have five unused 5.8 XW airGrids. People come to Dayton expecting to operate the nostalgic 2.4 SISO and we shouldn't disappoint.
It will kill JJ and my only RF link to the mesh, but we should aim the NSM5s at W Xenia and MVHS at each other for a cross-the-mesh link. The omni to omni link between them isn't very fast. Once we get a good Bullet and L-Com at KAS, it will probably link with the DCP Omni and JJ and I will probably have a classic SISO RF link to the mesh.
Bill doesn’t need 5.8 at W Xenia. Once his 2.4 Omni is back up, he can link to W Xenia and Bellbrook Omnis. He could get to the NSM5 in addition to the omni at XWARN if we put the NSM5 on a side arm.
Tim links well from Bellbrook to W Xenia Omni. I don't know if he can put a NSM5 at Xenia South, but he has three unused NSM5s at Bellbrook, the east-most probably aimed toward Xenia. I personally believe Xenia South is an important integral part of Xenia tornado AUXCOMM.
I'm not saying we shouldn't experiment with point to point MIMO links and omnis that don't link. But we should do that up north on a smaller scale.
For the main mesh, I’d like to see us maintain our legacy configuration.
