In my mesh setup, the mesh nodes are located in an unattached garage
with one ethernet cable to the house.

The mesh workstation computer and internet access is in the house.

I wanted to link my workstation to my mesh node stack via ethernet
instead of via radio using a pair of mesh nodes.

I have a Netgear GS108Ev3 802.1Q (managed VLAN) switch in the garage
and in the house.
The switch in the garage has 6 'Node' ports and 2 'LAN' ports. No 'WAN'.
The switch in the house is configured as
https://www.arednmesh.org/content/gs108e-3-node-4-lan-1-wan

* Using the one ethernet cable between the garage and the house,**
**I connected a 'Node (Tagged)' port on each switch.*

The mesh-chat, mesh-map, and mesh-server services are in the garage.

A locoM2-XW-64MB, the raspbx service, IP phone, and ads-b service is
in the house.
I plan to move the ads-b service to the garage.
