Those of us signed up on the AREDN site got an email with a bit of the other side of the story, Subject: AREDN Website Interruption. If you didn’t get that, email me privately and I”ll forward you a copy.

It’s likely none of us know the whole story or the legal process to follow. We can only hope the official support for some devices we’ve been long waiting for will soon be forthcoming.
