Mike is one smart person it makes sense that metal would be a better shield than plastic.
I wonder if wrapping bills with aluminum foil would help but only if it's located indoors

When I showed the owner of the company I work for (he's an Einstein/Hawkings on this stuff) the  two plastic/metal body versions of the Bullet... I remarked that the the main reason I was using the metal version was due to there not being a window for the LED's to shine through... place for moisture to eventually penetrate.

He said that the MAIN reason for doing something like that was to shield the circuit board inside from strong nearby RF fields; mainly at  tower sites that have a multitude of antennas & transmitters; if the RF field is strong enough... it's frequency is not a factor - can be any frequency.
