...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 PM EDT FOR CENTRAL
SOMERSET AND NORTH CENTRAL MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 1046 AM EDT, trained weather spotters reported flooding across
portions of the warned area. As much as 2.5 inches of rain has been
locally reported. The initial area of heavy rain is weakening and
has shifted west and southwest of the warned area, however another
area of heavier showers may move in from the east.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
New Brunswick, Somerville, Somerset, Bridgewater, Middlesex, Bound
Brook, Manville, Far Hills, Millstone, Martinsville, Society Hill,
Dunellen, Raritan and South Bound Brook.

Additional rainfall amounts of 0.50 to 1.00 inches are possible in
the warned area.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 7 and 23.
 Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 27 and 38.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
