...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN OCEAN...SOUTHEASTERN MERCER...MONMOUTH AND SOUTH
CENTRAL MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 454 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Red Bank to near Farmingdale, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement. Several reports of downed trees and power
         lines have been received from Somerset and Monmouth
         Counties with the passage of these storms.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Long Branch, Asbury Park, Sandy Hook, Lakewood, Middletown, Howell,
Marlboro, Manalapan, Tinton Falls, Holmdel, Red Bank, Jamesburg,
Manasquan, Hightstown, Highlands, Point Pleasant Beach, Cranbury,
Farmingdale, Roosevelt and Mantoloking.

This includes the following highways...
 New Jersey Turnpike near exit 8A.
 Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 11 and 34.
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 90 and 114.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
