CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
central, northern and southern New Jersey.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN OCEAN...SOUTHEASTERN MERCER...MONMOUTH AND SOUTHERN
MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 441 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Holmdel to near West Freehold, moving southeast at 45
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement. Reports of trees and power lines down have
         been received from Hunterdon and Somerset Counties with
         these storms.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Long Branch, Asbury Park, Sandy Hook, Lakewood, Middletown, Old
Bridge, Howell, Marlboro, Manalapan, Ewing, Tinton Falls, Holmdel,
Princeton, Red Bank, Matawan, Jamesburg, Manasquan, Hightstown,
Highlands and Point Pleasant Beach.

This includes the following highways...
 New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8A and 9.
 Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 11 and 34.
 Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 65 and 71.
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 90 and 122.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
