...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT WESTERN SUSSEX...NORTHWESTERN
WARREN...NORTHEASTERN LEHIGH...SOUTHEASTERN CARBON...CENTRAL MONROE
AND NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 1237 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Saylorsburg,
or 14 miles south of Mount Pocono, moving northeast at 35 mph.

Pea size hail is possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Bethlehem, Northampton, East Stroudsburg, Nazareth,
Bangor, Pen Argyl, Wind Gap, Bath, Walnutport, Belfast, Tatamy, East
Bangor, Steuben, Stormville, Werry Lake, Millbrook, Tannersville,
Reeders and Saylorsburg.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 300 and 314.
 Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 6.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
