...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN MIDDLESEX COUNTY...

At 529 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Colonia, or
near Linden, moving north at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Perth Amboy, Edison, Carteret, Colonia, Woodbridge, South Plainfield,
Metuchen, Iselin, Fords, Sewaren, Port Reading and Avenel.

This includes the following highways...
 New Jersey Turnpike between exits 11 and 12.
 Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 5.
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 127 and 134.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
