...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT FOR CENTRAL
OCEAN COUNTY...

At 515 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in
the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Toms River, Barnegat, Beachwood, Tuckerton, Seaside Heights, Surf
City, Mantoloking, Dover Beaches North, Holiday City South, Dover
Beaches South, Beach Haven West, Mystic Island, Point Pleasant, South
Toms River, Island Heights, Bay Head, Silver Ridge, Ocean Acres,
Gilford Park and Manahawkin.

This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 60 and 83.

Additional rainfall of up to one inch is expected over the area,
especially across the southern half of Long Beach Island. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
