...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 AM EDT FOR CARBON
COUNTY...

At 1110 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. One to two inches of rain have
fallen across portions of the area. This will cause minor flooding
in the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Weatherly, New Mahoning, Albrightsville,
Lake Harmony, Christmans, Meckesville, Lansford, Summit Hill and
Beaver Meadows.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 277 and 287.
 Northeast Extension between exits A87 and A95.

Additional rainfall of up to one inch is expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. Turn Around, Don't Drown.
