The heavy rain has ended, and the flooding threat has diminished.
Light rainfall will continue through the next few hours however
additional minor flooding is not expected.

...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM EDT FOR NORTHERN
OCEAN...SOUTHEASTERN MERCER...NORTHEASTERN BURLINGTON...MONMOUTH...
MIDDLESEX AND SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS COUNTIES...

At 701 PM EDT, Doppler radar continues to indicate heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Outside of the area under a Flash Flood Warning, up to two inches of
rain have already fallen. Along the coastline of Monmouth and Ocean
Counties, there have been multiple rounds of moderate to heavy
rainfall which will result in minor flooding. This specifically
includes Manasquan, Brick Twp, and Mantoloking as another round of
thunderstorms is heading towards that area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Toms River, Trenton, Perth Amboy, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Sandy
Hook, Lakewood, Middletown, Old Bridge, Bensalem, Jackson, Howell,
East Brunswick, Sayreville, Marlboro, Manalapan, Ewing, Carteret,
Tinton Falls and Holmdel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
