MONMOUTH...MIDDLESEX AND EAST CENTRAL BUCKS COUNTIES...
At 356 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered over Collingwood
Park, or near Asbury Park, moving northeast at 15 mph.
Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.
Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Trenton, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Sandy Hook, Lakewood,
Middletown, Old Bridge, Jackson, Howell, East Brunswick, South
Brunswick, Sayreville, North Brunswick, Marlboro, Manalapan, Ewing,
Tinton Falls, Holmdel and Princeton.
This includes the following highways...
Garden State Parkway between mile markers 77 and 125.
Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 34.
Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 55 and 72.
New Jersey Turnpike between exits 7 and 9.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
