SOUTHEASTERN MERCER...NORTHERN BURLINGTON...MONMOUTH AND SOUTHERN
MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...
At 324 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered over Ramtown, or 7
miles north of Toms River, moving northeast at 15 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.
Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Trenton, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Lakewood, Middletown,
Old Bridge, Jackson, Howell, East Brunswick, South Brunswick,
Sayreville, North Brunswick, Marlboro, Manalapan, Ewing, Tinton
Falls, Holmdel, Red Bank and Beachwood.
This includes the following highways...
Garden State Parkway between mile markers 79 and 125.
Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 34.
Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 59 and 69.
New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8 and 9.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
