...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM EDT
FOR ATLANTIC...WESTERN OCEAN...EAST CENTRAL CAMDEN...NORTHERN CAPE
MAY AND SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON COUNTIES...

At 1126 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Medford to near Batsto to near Eldora, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Atlantic City, Ocean City, Medford, Pleasantville, Hammonton, Somers
Point, Ventnor City, Northfield, Absecon, Tabernacle, Shamong,
Margate City, Egg Harbor City, Presidential Lakes Estates, Weymouth,
Woodbine, Estell Manor, Pemberton, Port Republic and Longport.

This includes the following highways...
 Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 3 and 22.
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 19 and 58.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Mount Holly NJ.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
