The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central New Castle County in northern Delaware...
  Northeastern Kent County in central Delaware...
  West central Atlantic County in southern New Jersey...
  Cumberland County in southern New Jersey...
  Salem County in southern New Jersey...
  Southwestern Camden County in southern New Jersey...
  Gloucester County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 1130 PM EDT.

* At 1032 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Stanton to near Hancocks Bridge to near Cheswold,
  moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
           possible.

* Locations impacted include...
  Wilmington, Vineland, Dover, Newark, Millville, Bridgeton,
  Deptford, Voorhees, West Deptford, Glassboro, Lindenwold,
  Pennsville, Bellmawr, Woodbury, Smyrna, Pitman, Clayton, Carneys
  Point, Berlin and Elsmere.

This includes the following highways...
 Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 35 and 44.
 Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 21, and
between mile markers 31 and 32.
 New Jersey Turnpike between exits 1 and 3.
 Interstate 95 in Delaware between mile markers 5 and 18.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Mount Holly NJ.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors
immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough
to be struck by lightning.
