The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM EDT
FOR CENTRAL NEW CASTLE...NORTH CENTRAL KENT...WEST CENTRAL CUMBERLAND
AND WESTERN SALEM COUNTIES...

At 1028 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hope Creek, or
10 miles east of Middletown, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Pennsville, Carneys Point, Elsmere, New Castle, Penns
Grove, Salem, Alloway, Quinton, Delaware City, Newport, Greenwich,
Shiloh, Stanton, Woodland Beach, Bear, Hancocks Bridge, Newport
Meadows, Port Penn and Wilmington Manor.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 6.
 New Jersey Turnpike near exit 1.
 Interstate 95 in Delaware between mile markers 5 and 14.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Mount Holly NJ.
