...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM EDT FOR CARBON
AND WESTERN MONROE COUNTIES...

At 929 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the thunderstorms that
produced the heavy rain had left the advisory area. However, it will
take time for water to recede. Additional light rain showers are
possible over the next few hours. This will cause minor flooding in
the advisory area. Up to two and a half inches of rain have already
fallen.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Lehighton, Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Weatherly, Brodheadsville, New
Mahoning, Pocono Pines, Gilbert, Pocono Raceway, Lake Harmony, Long
Pond, Albrightsville, Kresgeville, Sun Valley, Arrowhead Lake, Jonas,
Meckesville, Reeders, Beltzville State Park and McMichael.

This includes the following highways...
 Northeast Extension between mile markers 73 and 97.
 Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 277 and 300, and
between mile markers 304 and 305.
 Interstate 380 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 3.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
