...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT CENTRAL CARBON COUNTY...

At 801 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Nesquehoning,
or 7 miles northwest of Lehighton, moving northeast at 25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Weatherly, Penn Forest Reservoir,
Albrightsville, Christmans, Lansford and Summit Hill.

This includes Northeast Extension between mile markers 80 and 89.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
