...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN MIDDLESEX COUNTY...

At 631 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Edison, or near
New Brunswick, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Edison, East Brunswick, Carteret,
Colonia, North Brunswick Township, Woodbridge, South River, Highland
Park, Metuchen, Milltown, Iselin, Sewaren, Port Reading, Fords and
Avenel.

This includes the following highways...
 New Jersey Turnpike between exits 10 and 13.
 Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 4.
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 126 and 134.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
