...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN MORRIS...
NORTHWESTERN HUNTERDON AND CENTRAL WARREN COUNTIES...

At 225 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Roxburg, or 8
miles northeast of Easton, moving northeast at 10 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Hackettstown, Washington, Belvidere, Harmony, Oxford, Hope, Glen
Gardner, Hampton, Califon, Bloomsbury, Great Meadows-Vienna, Brass
Castle, Pleasant Valley, Long Valley, Roxburg, Beatyestown and
Beattyestown.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 5 and 7.
 Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 12 and 14.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
