...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR CENTRAL QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened and moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However
gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
central and southern Delaware...and eastern Maryland.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN SUSSEX...SOUTHERN KENT...CENTRAL TALBOT AND SOUTHERN
CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 834 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Woodside to Bridgeville to near University Of Maryland
Center For Environmental Studies, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dover, Easton, Milford, Denton, Harrington, Camden, Trappe, Preston,
Oxford, Bowers, Woodside, Viola, Smithville, Rising Sun-Lebanon,
Hazlettville, Agner, Choptank, Dover Base Housing, Windyhill and
Andrewsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
