The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
eastern and northeastern Pennsylvania.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM EDT
FOR NORTH CENTRAL BERKS...NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH...SOUTHERN CARBON AND
WEST CENTRAL NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 529 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Slatington to near New Mahoning to near Mcadoo, and
are nearly stationary.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
         siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lehighton, Palmerton, Jim Thorpe, Slatington, Nesquehoning,
Walnutport, Danielsville, New Mahoning, Wanamakers, New Tripoli,
Berlinsville, Jordan Valley, Emerald, Lansford, Summit Hill,
Bowmanstown, Parryville, Weissport, Weissport East and Tresckow.

This includes the following highways...
 Northeast Extension between mile markers 66 and 77.
 Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 40 and 43.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm, and
the storm will affect the beaches. For your safety, immediately move
off the beach and seek shelter indoors.
