...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM EDT
FOR ATLANTIC...NORTHERN CUMBERLAND...NORTHEASTERN SALEM...
SOUTHEASTERN CAMDEN AND SOUTHERN GLOUCESTER COUNTIES...

At 408 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Egg Harbor City to near Mizpah to near Malaga to
Elmer, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
         siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Vineland, Atlantic City, Millville, Bridgeton, Pleasantville,
Glassboro, Hammonton, Ventnor City, Northfield, Absecon, Clayton,
Margate City, Buena, Egg Harbor City, Woodstown, Alloway, Weymouth,
Estell Manor, Newfield and Elmer.

This includes the following highways...
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 32 and 40.
 Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 3 and 35.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
