...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN CAMDEN...NORTHWESTERN BURLINGTON...SOUTHEASTERN
MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS...PHILADELPHIA AND NORTHEASTERN
DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 216 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated Pennypack Creek has reached
flood stage and Frankford Creek is rapidly approaching flood stage.
Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. Spotters and law
enforcement have reported road flooding in several locations in the
warning area. This is a dangerous situation. Flash flooding is
already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash
         flooding.

SOURCE...Automated gauges.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Camden, Bensalem, Mount Laurel, Willingboro, Lumberton,
Florence, Yeadon, Burlington, Bristol, Mount Holly, Riverside,
Conshohocken, Palmyra, Jenkintown, Narberth, East Lansdowne, Beverly,
Rockledge and Tullytown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
