The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northeastern Monmouth County in central New Jersey...
  Middlesex County in northern New Jersey...

* Until 330 PM EDT.

* At 1225 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers
  and thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory
  area. As much as locally one inch of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Sandy Hook,
  Middletown, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, South Brunswick,
  Sayreville, North Brunswick, Marlboro, Carteret, Tinton Falls,
  Holmdel, Red Bank, Keansburg, Matawan, Jamesburg and Highlands.

This includes the following highways...
 New Jersey Turnpike between exits 9 and 13.
 Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 1.
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 100 and 130.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
