The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Southeastern Morris County in northern New Jersey...
  Northeastern Somerset County in northern New Jersey...

* Until 315 PM EDT.

* At 1107 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
  the advisory area.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Morristown, Somerville, Bridgewater, Madison, Middlesex, Florham
  Park, East Hanover, Bound Brook, Manville, Chatham, Mendham,
  Peapack And Gladstone, Far Hills, Martinsville, Millington, Basking
  Ridge, North Plainfield, Bernardsville, Raritan and Watchung.

Additional rainfall of up to one inch is expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 28 and 42.
 Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 14 and 38.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
