...A DANGEROUS SNOW SQUALL WILL AFFECT EASTERN BERKS AND CENTRAL
LEHIGH COUNTIES...

At 246 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located over McKeansburg,
or near Schuylkill Haven, moving southeast at 35 mph.

Wind gusts up to 45 mph are possible with this dangerous squall.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Emmaus, Kutztown, Hamburg, Fleetwood, Laureldale, Topton,
Leesport, Shoemakersville, Bally, Bechtelsville, Lyons,
Lenhartsville, Wanamakers, Ancient Oaks, Claussville, Zionsville,
Macungie, Alburtis and Centerport.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 24 and 62.
 Northeast Extension near exit A56.

Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this dangerous squall.

Icy roads are possible as the snow melts on the roads then quickly
refreezes.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in snow squalls. Be prepared for
snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time when
traveling.
