FOR NORTHWESTERN OCEAN...EAST CENTRAL CAMDEN...MERCER...CENTRAL
BURLINGTON...SOUTHERN SOMERSET...CENTRAL MONMOUTH...MIDDLESEX AND
EASTERN BUCKS COUNTIES...

At 1054 AM EST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Kendall Park to near Crosswicks to near Atsion, moving
northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Trenton, New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Somerset, Edison, Old Bridge,
Jackson, East Brunswick, South Brunswick, Sayreville, North
Brunswick, Marlboro, Manalapan, Ewing, Medford, Carteret, Holmdel,
Middlesex, Princeton and Mount Holly.

This includes the following highways...
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 116 and 134.
 Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 27.
 Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 12.
 Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 51 and 72.
 New Jersey Turnpike near exit 6, and between exits 7 and 13.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.
