...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM EDT
FOR ATLANTIC...CUMBERLAND...SOUTHEASTERN SALEM...SOUTHEASTERN
OCEAN...SOUTHEASTERN CAMDEN...SOUTHEASTERN GLOUCESTER...CAPE MAY AND
SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON COUNTIES...

At 254 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Bamber Lake to near Penn State Forest to Millville,
moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Vineland, Atlantic City, Millville, Bridgeton, Ocean City, Cape May,
Cumberland, Pleasantville, Hammonton, Somers Point, Ventnor City,
Brigantine, Northfield, Absecon, Tabernacle, Shamong, Margate City,
Buena, Egg Harbor City and North Wildwood.

This includes the following highways...
 Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 0 and 37.
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 0 and 64.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. These storms are producing widespread
wind damage across portions of Camden County with several reports of
trees down and power outages across the area. SEEK SHELTER NOW
inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
