...Enhanced Threat for Fire Spread This Afternoon...
Relative humidity values will drop into the mid to upper 20s
today. Winds will be out of the west-northwest at 15 to 20 mph
with gusts of 25 to 30 mph. The combination of low humidity,
gusty winds, and drying fine fuels will lead to an enhanced threat
for fire spread today. The threat will be maximized this
afternoon, once temperatures have warmed near the expected highs.
For more information about wildfire danger, burn restriction, and
wildfire prevention and education, please visit your state forestry
or environmental protection website.
