SAFETY MESSAGE...Do not attempt to drive through flooded areas. The water
may be deeper than you think.

* Flood Warning for
  The East Branch Brandywine Creek at Downingtown.
* Until this evening...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:45 AM Monday the stage was 7.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 8.4 feet. The river
  will fall below flood stage this afternoon.
* Impact...At 8.0 feet...Dowlin Forge Road begins to flood.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.3 feet on
  Jun 4 2003.
