CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for
southern and central New Jersey.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM EDT
FOR CENTRAL OCEAN...SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON AND SOUTHEASTERN MONMOUTH
COUNTIES...

At 225 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Manasquan to near Barnegat to near New Gretna,
moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Barnegat, Manasquan, Point Pleasant Beach, Tuckerton,
Seaside Heights, Surf City, Port Republic, Mantoloking, Dover Beaches
North, Dover Beaches South, Bass River State Forest, New Gretna,
Beach Haven West, Brick Township, Mystic Island, Point Pleasant,
Brielle, Spring Lake Heights and Spring Lake.

This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 49 and 76.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Mount Holly NJ.
