...SURF ZONE FORECAST ISSUANCE TO CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY...

Today, September 30, marks the normal date for the final issuance of
our seasonal Surf Zone Forecast (SRF) product. However, with the
expectation of both near record warm temperatures on Wednesday and
potentially dangerous surf conditions, the SRF will continue to be
issued through this Friday, October 4. It is likely that a moderate
to high risk for the development of dangerous rip currents will
continue through most of the week. Anyone entering the water in
these conditions should exercise extreme caution, as most beaches
are now unguarded.
