...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN KENT COUNTY IS CANCELLED...

The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out
of the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for
eastern and northeastern Maryland.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM EDT FOR NORTH
CENTRAL TALBOT...SOUTH CENTRAL QUEEN ANNE'S AND CENTRAL CAROLINE
COUNTIES...

At 1125 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Wye Mills, or near Centerville, moving east at 50
mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Centerville, Centreville, Ridgely, Jumptown, Wye Mills, Starr,
Carville, Hope and Queenstown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Tornadoes are extremely difficult to see and confirm at night. Do not
wait to see or hear the tornado. TAKE COVER NOW!
