...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM EDT FOR
CENTRAL BERKS COUNTY...

At 1101 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in
much of western Berks County. Portions of westbound Interstate 78
have been closed near mile marker 10. A rock slide was reported on
Lancaster Avenue in Bethel Township. Roads have been closed in
Leesport as well. Flash flooding will continue for the next few
hours.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Kutztown, Hamburg, Fleetwood, Sinking Spring,
Laureldale, Womelsdorf, Wernersville, Newmanstown, Leesport,
Adamstown, Shoemakersville, Bernville, Strausstown, Lenhartsville,
Spring Ridge, Fairview Hgts, Shillington and West Reading.

This includes Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 10
and 44.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
