...STANDING WATER POSSIBLE DUE TO RAIN AND LEAVES...

Where moderate to heavy rain and fallen leaves coexist, expect water
to accumulate on roadways this afternoon and evening.

By later tonight, rainfall totals are expected to range from 1.50 to
2.50 inches from the Poconos into northern and central New
Jersey. Rainfall amounts should fall between 0.75 and 1.50 inches
in southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Delaware and
northeastern Maryland.

For those of you that experience the heavier rain, localized roadway
flooding can be expected. Flooding will likely be enhanced where
leaves have accumulated. The leaves will alter runoff and clog storm
drains.

Be prepared for standing water on your commute this afternoon and
evening, even in places that normally drain well. Also allow extra
braking distance between you and the vehicle in front of you as
the wet leaves will reduce traction.
