...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM EDT FOR
WEST CENTRAL SUSSEX...NORTHWESTERN WARREN...NORTHEASTERN CARBON AND
MONROE COUNTIES...

At 621 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain was coming to
an end. Although the rain was ending, runoff will continue into the
evening. The flash flood warning remains in effect until 745 pm.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Branchville, Stormville, Henryville,
Brodheadsville, Werry Lake, Pocono Pines, Gilbert, Millbrook, Pocono
Raceway, Lake Harmony, Delaware Water Gap, Tannersville, Alpine
Mountain, Rossland, Crandon Lakes, Long Pond, Albrightsville and
Kresgeville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
