...PRELIMINARY STORM SURVEYS SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY FOR THE
AREAS NEAR MORGANTOWN IN BERKS COUNTY PA AND HOPATCONG IN SUSSEX
COUNTY NJ...

The National Weather Service office in Mount Holly NJ will
conduct storm surveys Wednesday for the areas near Morgantown in
Berks County PA and Hopatcong in Sussex County NJ. The surveys are
in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the
region on Tuesday evening.

At this time, we can confirm that a tornado did occur near
Morgantown in Bucks County PA based on video received showing a
tornado on the ground. A final assessment including results of
the survey are expected to be completed and transmitted via a
Public Information Statement by Wednesday evening.
