...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT
FOR CUMBERLAND...SOUTHEASTERN SALEM AND CAPE MAY COUNTIES...

At 802 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bridgeton,
moving southeast at 35 mph. This storm is the strongest, while
another thunderstorm is moving into western Cape May county.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Wind damage
         to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Vineland, Millville, Bridgeton, Ocean City, Cumberland, North
Wildwood, Laurel Lake, Wildwood Crest, Woodbine, Sea Isle City,
Estell Manor, Elmer, Avalon, Greenwich, Shiloh, Corbin City, Newport,
Cape May Court House, Leesburg and Scotch Bonnet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A tornado watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for southern New
Jersey.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
