...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN BERKS COUNTY...

At 527 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Reading, moving
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Reading, Wyomissing, Birdsboro, Sinking Spring, Wernersville, New
Morgan, Spring Ridge, Shillington, West Reading, Mount Penn, Mohnton,
Kenhorst, St. Lawrence, Wyomissing Hills, West Lawn, Lorane,
Reiffton, Amity Gardens, Whitfield and West Wyomissing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A tornado watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for eastern and
southeastern Pennsylvania.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
