...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN NEW CASTLE...NORTH CENTRAL SALEM...WEST CENTRAL
CAMDEN...NORTHWESTERN GLOUCESTER...SOUTHWESTERN PHILADELPHIA AND
DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 1142 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Chester
Township, or 11 miles southeast of West Chester, moving southeast at
45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
         siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Philadelphia, Camden, Gloucester City, Chester, Deptford, West
Deptford, Bellmawr, Yeadon, Woodbury, Folcroft, Swarthmore,
Paulsboro, Westville, Woodbury Heights, National Park, East
Lansdowne, Swedesboro, Brooklawn, Audubon Park and Arden.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
