...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM EDT
FOR TALBOT...SOUTHWESTERN QUEEN ANNE'S AND CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 448 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Wye Mills to near Skipton to near Oxford to near
Breezy Point, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

This line of storms has had a history of producing damaging winds.

Locations impacted include...
Easton, Talbot, Denton, Federalsburg, Greensboro, Oakland, Ridgely,
Trappe, St. Michaels, Preston, Oxford, Queen Anne, Smithville,
Grasonville, Starr, Copperville, Jumptown, Agner, Choptank and
Windyhill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
