...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM EDT
FOR NORTHERN TALBOT...QUEEN ANNE'S...NORTHERN CAROLINE AND
SOUTHWESTERN KENT COUNTIES...

At 431 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Old Town to near Centreville to near Grasonville
to near Kent Point, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Centerville, Talbot, Centreville, Greensboro, Oakland, Ridgely, Rock
Hall, St. Michaels, Church Hill, Goldsboro, Queen Anne, Old Town,
Grasonville, Starr, Copperville, Jumptown, Tilghman Island,
Stevensville, Skipton and Chester.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
